DakDrop extension
Right-click anything on the web and send it to your phone or another computer.
What it adds to your right-click menu
DakDrop opens (or comes to the front) and you tap the device to send it to. Clicking the toolbar icon simply opens DakDrop.
Install in Chrome or Edge (1 minute)
- Download the zip above and unzip it. You get a folder called
dakdrop-extension. - Open
chrome://extensions(Edge:edge://extensions). - Turn on Developer mode (top right in Chrome, left side in Edge).
- Click Load unpacked and choose the
dakdrop-extensionfolder. - Optional: pin it from the 🧩 puzzle menu so the DakDrop icon stays in your toolbar.
Works in Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera and other Chromium browsers.
Privacy
- The extension can only talk to jahidul.dev (to open DakDrop), plus the page you right-click, and only at that moment.
- It never reads other sites in the background and collects nothing.
- Files go straight from your browser to your other device, encrypted, the same as in DakDrop.
- If a site doesn't allow downloading an image, its address is sent instead.
